The playhouse is almost finished. If you look closely, you can see Edward at the top of the slide.

Edward was excited to see all of the progress on the playhouse today. The walls on the upstairs went on and then Michael and Dave and Ted lifted the roof up to the top. After things were hooked together, it really started to look like a fun place to play. In the afternoon everyone went swimming, but they were only able to stay a little while at the pool because a thunderstorm came. It rained and it poured. Everything got wet. It was a good thing that Edward was safe inside of the camper.

After the rain stopped and the sun came out, the men went back to work on the playhouse. They added the climbing bars and then the place where the swings will go. There is another platform and railing called the crows nest that still needs to be added. It was exciting to see the ladder and the climbing wall and the slide get attached tot the platform. Patrick was so excited, but he can't play on it yet. There are some other things that need to be done to make it safe for him. And there is a lot of painting that needs to be finished. The men think that they will be done with the construction part of the project tomorrow. It was a little bit bigger job than they anticipated and it took a bit longer, but they are glad to have the work done.

Edward is excited to see how it is turning out.
